22/11/2006 : Chelsea Qualify for Knockout Stage

Chelsea have qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions
League despite losing to Werder Bremen 1-0. Bremen are now level
on points with Chelsea but Chelsea are still top due to the head to
head results betwenn the two teams.
Bremen play Barcelona in the final group match with only one other team

11/11/2006 : Chelsea Back to Winning Ways

Chelsea have put the defeat by spurs well and truly behind them
after two successive 4-0 victories. One at home against Aston Villa
in the Carling Cup and the other at home against Watford in the Premier League.


05/11/2006 : Chelsea's Record Comes to an End

Chelsea's remarkable record of 32 league games against Tottenham
without defeat has come to an end after Spurs beat
Chelsea 2-1 in the Premiership.
Chelsea took the lead with a rare goal from Claude Makelele but
Spurs equalized soon after with a headed goal from defender, Dawson
and a second half goal from Lennon gave them the win.
