31/01/2007 : Chelsea to Face Arsenal
Chelsea are to face London rivals, Arsenal in the final of the
Carling Cup. The match is to be played on Sunday 25th February.
24/01/2007 : FA Cup 5th Round
Chelsea's reward for comfortably beating Nottingham Forest
3-0 in the FA Cup is a home tie against either Blackpool
or Norwich City in the 5th round.
24/01/2007 : Chelsea Into Final
Chelsea cruised their way into the Carling Cup final by beating
Wycombe 4-0 at home, to make the aggregate 5-1.
Man of the match, Andriy Shevchenko, scored twice as did Frank Lampard.
Chelsea will be joined in the final on 25th Feb by either Arsenal or Tottenham.
13/01/2007 : Chelsea Back In Form
Chelsea gave Wigan a 4-0 thrashing in the Premier League
with goals from Lampard, Robben, Drogba and an own goal
from Wigan Keeper Chris Kirkland.
10/01/2007 : Wycombe Earn Draw
Wycombe drew 1-1 with a second string Chelsea side in the
first leg of the Carling Cup Semi Final.
Wayne Bridge opened the scoring by lobbing the on-rushing keeper but
Wycombe equalised later on in the second half.
The second leg is on Tuesday 23rd January.
08/01/2007 : Chelsea to Face Forest
Chelsea's reward for thumping 6 past Macclesfield Town in the last
round of the FA Cup is a home tie against former Champions
of Europe, Nottingham Forest.
The tie will be played on the weekend of the 28th January.
03/01/2007 : Villa Draw Leaves Chelsea Behind
Chelsea drew 0-0 away to Aston Villa in the Premiership last
night, which leaves the Champions still trailing 6 points
behind current leaders, Manchester Utd.
